Synology Shares

I'd been having trouble sharing volumes to local servers directly using the GUI provided by Synology. After doing some reading these settings seem to have better results for sharing volumes with kubernetes and vms.

Create the folder in the gui and then edit the line in
sudo vim /etc/exports

It may appear like there is an new line after the sharefolder, this is not the case, this should all be one continuous line for each folder the ip and the share rights like so:
/volume1/sharefolder 192.xxx.xxx.xxx(rights)

/volume1/sharefolder 192.xxx.xxx.xxx(rw,sync,no_wdelay,insecure,no_root_squash,sec=sys,anonuid=65534,anongid=65534) 192.xxx.xxx.xxx(rw,sync,no_wdelay,insecure,no_root_squash,sec=sys,anonuid=65534,anongid=65534)

or try with out the id and gid

/volume1/sharefolder 192.xxx.xxx.xxx(rw,sync,no_wdelay,insecure,no_root_squash,sec=sys) 192.xxx.xxx.xxx(rw,sync,no_wdelay,insecure,no_root_squash,sec=sys)
